A really nice find! Original pages from the 1910's Rhymes of Ye Olde Sign Boards Illustrated Book by F.G. Lewin in Beautiful Vintage Frames...we have four...so please be sure and check out the others!
This page is Ye Robin Hood
and it reads: Ye bold Robin Hood how great was his Fame, Such Skill
with ye Bow, none other could claim, For Nottingham's Sheriff ne'er
could defeat, Nor Take him in his Woodland Retreat. Frame has a
crack in the glass- upper right corner. A partial image of the initials is visible on this one.
Page is approximately 16" x 7.5" and frame measures 17.25" x 11 3/8." Frame has glass front,paper backing and wire hanger. There are some small tears in the
backing but nothing of major concern. Otherwise, very good
condition, especially considering the age.
