Vintage Black & White Original Lithograph Country Farmhouse Signed 16" x 20"
We have five Lithographs in this Collection. They are original unframed Lithographs on Paper. Signed by the Artist...TH Crawford. This one has a date of 5/79 - it is believed all were created around this time.
This one is a depiction of a country/farmhouse with a plot twist or two...maybe a peep into the artists' humor. There's a barn and windmill in the background, basketball hoop nailed to a tree, old Volkswagen beetle on the side of house with an old mattress behind it. Yard is a myriad of objects...tricycle, barrel, wagon, baby carriage, chair, soda crates and more. Sidewalk is part of the monopoly game and has a family of ducks crossing over into the yard. House has a large porch with a swing and there's a gentleman asleep on the swing. Opposite side of house has a tire swing in a tree, outhouse, old boat, bathtub full of cans, water hose, yard tools and much, much more...even a Pink Panther on the back porch! A front yard sign says "Sold" but another sign has been placed across it that says "For Sale Again." A really nice piece of art with interesting subject matter!
