Age appropriate patina, a couple of rough/rubbed spots on handle of one basket. Otherwise excellent condition. No chips, cracks, dents or repairs.
Nice 3pc set of Pairpoint Quadruple Plate Silver. A rare find in having all three pieces!
It is a beautiful set with repousse detail in a fruit and vine motif. Intricately detailed crimped rims and handles on the small baskets add charm...while the crimped rim, claw feet and double ribbed handles on large basket adds elegant appeal. Very nice pieces from a by-gone era. Pieces are weighty.
Measures:
• Large Basket approx. 9" handle to handle x4.25" tall x 6.5" at opening
• Small Baskets approx. 3.5" tall w/handle x 1.5" tall w/o handle x 5" in diameter
Pieces are marked "Pairpoint Mfg Co, Quadruple Plate" with the letter P inside a Diamond.
