Antique Treble Triple Plate Medallion Sweetmeat w Lid Simpson Hall Miller & Co
Has age appropriate patina, otherwise excellent condition. No chips, cracks, dents or repairs.
This Antique Sweetmeat consists of a Triple Silverplate Lidded Basket with a Clear Pressed Glass Insert. The basket sits on four ornate feet and has a circle of evenly spaced Medallions that hold the glass insert in place. There are five medallions with the faces of men and one medallion that displays a shield. Has a nice carrying handle and lid with crown finial.
Measures approx. 6.5" tall x 4" tall x 4.75" at opening
Marked on bottom "Simpson Hall Miller & Co., Wallingford, Conn., Treble Plate" along with the number 50.
