Japanese Farmers Large Vintage Figurine Statue Asian Farmers with Grain Cart
Great Piece! Lots of history in a Figurine / Statue!
Features two Asian Farmers carrying a cart full of Grains. Figures are intricately detailed with lines in the forehead, creases at the eyes, patches in the clothing, traditional head wraps and footwear.
The farmer on the front is wearing brown pants, blue jacket or shirt with blue & white head
wrap, while the farmer on back is wearing white pants, black jacket or
shirt and blue/white head wrap. The cart is brown, the grain is yellow.
Cart has two large wheels and is full of grain...one farmer is holding the arms of the cart in front while the other farmer is holding up the rear. There is a chip in one of the wheels and two small holes in the grain where there may have been a pole or stick? Otherwise, excellent condition...a very interesting and intriguing piece!
Measures approx. 11" long x 6.25" tallest x 4.75" at widest
Marked "Made in Japan" with the letter H and number 13
