Late 19th Early 20th Century Antique Japanese Temple Ginger Jar
Hand
painted and decorated with 4 panels of geisha girls in court scenes. Sandhill cranes, flowers and calligraphy surround the panels. Ornate floral petals occupy
top and lid, while synchronized panels of flowers give prominence to
the bottom. Heavily enameled and gilded. A cream and gray crackled glaze
background completes the look. Small red mark on bottom, as shown in
photos.
