Vintage Chinese Famille Rose Vase Qianlong Period Moriage Cloisonne Enamel Vase
Beautiful Vintage Famille Rose Porcelain Vase hand painted throughout with cloisonne enameled detail!
There are large and small pink and purple roses throughout the vase. The largest roses are encased within a large heavily gilded frame- one on the front and one on the back. There are two framed cameos separating the large framed roses- one cameo is horizontal while the other is vertical. Chain link cloisonne detail in heavy cobalt and gilt snakes through the vase and is a prominent feature. Wide cobalt bands at the top and bottom are decorated with a floral gilt and moriage trim. Red mark on bottom.
Has one hairline crack on the lip that extends about 2 inches into bowl...it shows as a small crack on exterior (see pic 7) but appears to be surface only on the interior. Overall, it looks like a natural flaw from the outside and doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece at all. A little dirty on the inside.
Measures approx. 11.75" tall x 21.25" round x 4" at opening
